Description

NA The US Army Intelligence and Security Command, Fort Belvoir, VA announces its intentions to award a sole source purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) to Motorola, Inc., 7230 Parkway Drive, Hanover, Maryland 21076, for the purchas e of following brand name Motorola encryption radio systems: CLIN 0001, Motorola XTL5000 mobile encryption radio systems, Quantity: 21 Each; and CLIN 0002, Motorola KVL 3000 mobile encryption radio systems, Quantity: 30 Each, delivery as follows: Fort Mea de, Maryland 20755. NO PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS OR EQUIVALENT PRODUCTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, OR A REQUEST FOR OFFERS. This is a Notice of Intent. Interested parties may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. All inqu iries must be addressed in writing to Mr. Lacy L. Hairston, Contract Specialist, COMMANDER USAINSCOM, IAPC-DOC, 8825 Beulah Street, Ft. Belvoir, VA, facsimile number 703-428-5014, and email address llhairs@inscom.army.mil. Responses to this notice must be received within three (3) days of this electronic posting. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice may represent the only official notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convi ncing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
