Description

NA The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center Base Contracting Office, Alpena, MI 49707-8125 intends to award a contract to Motorola, Inc. for communications equipment for Unit Task Code (UTC) 4F9FE for the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center Fire Depart ment. This equipment package includes hand-held radio units with encryption, repeater stations, base stations, and all ancillary equipment. This package is directed to ensure Air Force wide system compatibility. The radio model to be purchased is the Motor ola XTS5000 Model I and Model II, the Quantar/Quantro Family Repeater, XTVA Model Base Station. Ancillary equipment includes all cables, connectors, power sources, charging stations, battery conditioning systems and radio programming software. These radio packages are certified by the D.O.D for secure encryption. Interested vendors may contact Dwight Henley at dwight.henley@micrtc.ang.af.mil. The intended award date of this notice is 27 September 2003.
