Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Military Academy is requesting quotes in response to solicitation number DABJ45-03-T-MANLIFT.This procurement is unrestricted, there is no set aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 423830 with a size standard of 500 empl oyees. The agency is requesting quotes for one (1) self-propelled manlift with an articulating boom that meets the following specifications as a minimum. Electric Powered On-board batery charger Additional battery pack Platform Height - 65 feet Platform Capacity - 500 lbs minimum Platform Size - 60inches x 36inches Safety features such as strobe light, motion alarm and horn All quotes shall include written specifications on the product that is being offered. Delivery shall take place no later than 17 October 2003. Place of delivery shall be 2ND AVIATION DETACHMENT Attn: PETER YANAKIS 1005 FIRST STREET NEW WINDSOR NY 12553 The following clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 - Instructions to Offerors 52.212-4 - Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items 52.212-5 - Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders -- Commercial Items Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its order. In accordance with FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation -Commercial Items (Jan 1999) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical Specifications and Price. Technical specifications are of equal importance when compared to price.
