- Description
- Firm-Fixed Price Contract (FFP) for a Dual Chambered Furnace to be delivered to Beale AFB, CA. The recommended item is a Lucifer Furnaces Inc. ?SPACE SAVER? series 8000 model# R36. Only bids for items that are equal to the specifications and provide the same or equal capability of the Model R-36 will be accepted (www.luciferfurnaces.com). This solicitation is set-aside for small business concerns and is under NAICS 333994 with a size standard of 500 employees. In addition, this solicitation will use competitive Request for Quotation procedures and will only be available by downloading from the EPS web site. Quotes are due no later than 2:00 pm (1400) 15 September 2003. Contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. We require a Dual chamber model furnace that combines a hardening chamber stacked above a draw chamber. ? The hardening chamber must have a maximum temperature range of at least 2300 F. ? The lower draw chamber is must be equipped with a fan assembly for recirculation and have a temperature range of at least 1200 F. ? Both chambers must offer the same working area size of at least 24"H x 24"W x 36"L. ? Each chamber must operate independently and must be completely pre-wired and equipped with digital controls ready for connection to main power supply. ? Shipping will be included.
