Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. HQ US Army Intelligence and Security Command has a requirement for 15,000 metal badges. The size of the badge is 2 3/4 inches tall and 2 ¼ inched wide at the widest point. . Further specifications for the badge: -The words on badge shall read Counterintelligence. -The badge number will be located below the Army seal and above the new Counterintelligence banner at the bottom. -The badge's finish must be of a stay-bright or ever-shine type. -The badges must be cleanable with a soft fabric towel or wipe. -The badge material needs to be strong enough not to bend. -The badge should have a minimum amount of curve and should be close to flat. -The badge should have a money clip on the reverse side to secure the badge into the case. The case must be non-obtrusive and of a good enough quality that will allow for several years of use. -Badges must have the stay-bright finish. -All original dyes used to punch out the badges must be purchased and delivered with the badges The proposed design for the badge is available by contacting mrklink@inscom.army.mil or 703-428-4580 Only badge manufacturers that are identified in the CCR shall be given the information. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. A completed copy of the provisi on at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items must be included with the offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
