Description

This solicitation is an unrestricted solicitation for operation of the DSCR on-site Bettye Ackerman Child Development Center (CDC) for DSCR employees. Contractor's remuneration will be a combination of patron fees and Government appropriated funds subsidies. Program shall provide developmentally appropriate care for the following categories: infants (age six weeks to 24 months), 24 spaces; toddlers (age 24 months to 36 months), 14 spaces; and preschool/kindergarten (ages three years to six years (pre-school only), 36 spaces. Maximum number of enrollees/class sizes may vary dependent on mix of age groups. Contractor must comply with standard industry regulations as well as Dept. of Defense Instruction (DODI) 6060.2 and DLA Child Development Guidance Package and DLA Child Development Program Instruction which are incorporated into the solicitation by reference. DLA Guidance Package and Program Instruction are available for reviewing/download at http://www.dscr.dla.mil/DSCRCDC. Contractor's employees will be required to undergo Local, State and National Agency checks and Health and Human Services checks at contractor's expense. Contract will be awarded for a one year base period of twelve months with four, twelve month-options to extend the terms of the contract for four additional years. Award will be made using best value source selection techniques with technical being equal to price. Delivery schedule - number of days ARO - 365. Duration of contract period - 60 months (base year plus 4 option years).
