Description: The Indian Health Services plans to award a Sole-Source Contract to The National Congress of American Indians, Washington, DC, with a Period of Performance: September 29, 2003 - March 28, 2004. IHS is requesting that the proposed Contractor performs; Task 1: Develop a written plan for the planning, implementation, and outcomes of the initiative. This task will be completed within 30 days from award of contract and approved by the IHS Acquisitions Office. A start-up planning meeting will be conducted in Albuquerque, NM. Task 2: Promote and facilitate local, state, and national partnerships for the purpose of establishing fiscal and program support for the Boys and Girls Club pilot sites, such as; UNITY, Boys and Girls Club of America, and Tribal Organizations. Task 3: Disseminate and implement evaluation processes developed by the Indian Health Service. Task 4: Provide ongoing technical support to the sites for the duration of the initiative. The planning, design and delivery of technical assistance will support the local organization's long-term planning and outreach efforts. The training will be customized based on pilot sites capability and experience. Technical assistance will also be provided on grant planning and program implementation. No Solicitation is Available.
