- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for 17 each 2U servers, rack mount. Chassis specifications as follows: Material: 12.mm Heavy-duty steel; Dimension: 19" (W) x 25" (D) x 3.5" (H); Cooling: 4x80mm high speed ball-bearing fans; Power Supply: 300W; PCI Extension: 3xfull-height full-length PCI expansion slots; Indicators: Power & HDD LEDs located middle of front panel; USB: Standard front USB dual socket; System Boards: Up to 12" (W) x 13" (D) SSI EEB 3.0 Dual-Xeon and dual-Athlon based motherboards; Drive Bay: 2x5.25" exposed bays + 2x3.5" exposed bays; Built in 3 x IDE hot-swap bays: BR-IDE23: Supports 3x 3.5? (1? high) IDE Hard Disk drives on left front panel; Temperature: 0 ?C(32 F) - 50 ?C(122 F); Humidity: 5% - 95% non-condensing. Numerous additional in depth specifications will be set forth in the solicitation. Required delivery date is 10 N ov 03. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 04 Sep 03. The closing date of the solicitation will be 18 Sep 03, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 334112 and a size standard of 1000. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil and on the Keyport Acquisition homepage at http://kpt-eco.kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to powersm@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO or Keyport websites. The offeror must have a current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov ). Any questions should be submitted in writing via the fax number provided above or e-mailed to powersm@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Note 1 applies.
