Description

The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection has a requirement to procure the following CD ROM?s on a sole source basis from Port Import Export Reporting Service (PIERS), a Division of Commonweath Business Media @1270 National Press Building, Washington, DC 20045. The PIERS is unique in that they collect manifest information that is not in the Automated Manifest Systems (AMS). The data they collect on their CD-ROM?s is historical information and those manifests are not automated. The PIERS data base includes information from all water borne vessels with calls between U.S. ports and foreign countries. The requirement will be processed under the authority of 10 USC 2304?(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. All proposals received by the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. Any information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
