- NA A MARKET SURVEY is being conducted to determine if there are adequate HubZone contractors for this proposed contract for HubZone Business Competitive Set-Aside Award. The proposed contract will be for the Nashville U.S. Army Reserve Center/Organization Mai ntenance Shop/Unheated Storage Facility (USARC/OMS/USF) which consists of the following: (1) Construction of 48,246 square foot two story Training Building with structural steel frame, exterior CMU walls, brick veneer and shingled roof. Functional spaces include administrative areas, assembly hall, physical fitness area, locker facilities with showers, kitchen, arms vault, unit storage area and facility support areas. (2) Construction of 2,352 square foot OMS Vehicle Maintenance facility with one drive t hrough service bay, administrative area, tool and storage areas and restroom facilities. (3) 1,288 square foot Pre-engineered Unit Storage Building. (4) OMAR funded equipment such as unit storage, unheated storage, and arms vault caging; metal shelving; information system; and movable kitchen equipment. (5) 864 square foot Covered Wash Rack consisting of pre-engineered building frame and roof system, concrete pad and curbs. (6) Support facilities shall include 3,503 square yards POV parking area, 2,359 square yard heavy-duty Drive/MEP parking area, concrete sidewalks, landscaping, fencing, retaining walls, utilities and lighting. This project is planned for advertisement in October 2003 with award scheduled in December 2003. Contract duration is estima ted at 547 days. NAICS is 233320. The business size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated cost range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. 20% of the work is to be self-performed. All interested HubZone businesses should notify this office in wri ting by mail or fax by September 10, 2003, 3:00 pm, local time. Responses should include: (1) Identification and verification of company as a HubZone business, (2) Past Experience- Describe completed projects that are similar in size, scope to the propose d project, the percentage of self-performed work and how that was accomplished, (3) Capability of obtaining performance and payment bonds for a project in the dollar amount listed above, and (4) a statement verifying the contractor will perform 20% of the work and how it will be accomplished. NOTE: If qualified HubZone business firms do not respond, this planned contract action will be converted to full and open competition.
