Description
LRS CAMERA SYSTEM COMBINED SOLICITATION NOTICE This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR SubPart 12.6. The 319th Contracting Squadron at Grand Forks AFB, ND intends to award a purchase order for the purchase of two separate security camera surveillance systems. Requirement is as follows: Contractor will furnish all plant, labor materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to install two camera systems in the Logistics Readiness Squadron. The Contractor shall install camera systems in areas in manner that affords full visibility as specified below. FUELS MANAGEMENT CAMERA SYSTEM The 319th Fuels Management Flight is requesting a camera monitoring system be installed at Bldgs 501,545, and 664. The system will provide 24-hour security on all critical assets. The system should contain 6 cameras, two pole mounted cameras at each location. Each camera should have the ability to pan, tilt, and zoom individually. Each camera should be weather proof, fitted with it?s own fan and heater in order to adapt to our harsh winter climate. All 6 cameras should have the ability to be positioned at the operator?s discretion. A lesser amount of cameras will be considered if visibility/security requirements are met. The system should include a reputable warranty and have prompt and reliable service. All cameras will be viewed at our Resource Control Center. Each camera should be able to be viewed individually, or all at once. The system should include a reputable warranty and have prompt and reliable service. VEHICLE OPERATIONS CAMERA SYSTEM The 319th Vehicle Management Flight is requesting a camera monitoring system to be installed at Bldg 414, 435 and vehicle parking area. The system will provide 24-hour security coverage in and around both buildings and parking area. The camera system will be used to monitor all areas for unreported damaged to vehicles, buildings as well as the security for the fore mentioned areas. The cameras will need to be weather and waterproof due to location of monitored areas. All cameras must have the capability to monitor all locations individually and separately from a workstation in Bldg 459 and be able to provide clear coverage during periods of light and darkness. Request remote opening of doors in Bldg 414 and 435 from our workstation in Bldg 459 this will allow for control of entry into each building. The system should include a reputable warranty and have prompt and reliable service. A site visit will be conducted on Sep 10 2003 at 1 pm central time. All prospective offerors are highly encouraged to attend prior to quoting. Quotes will be due NLT 4:30 central time Sep 17 2003. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and will be based on competitive quotes. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621; size standard of $9,000,000.00. The following provisions and clauses can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site. Web address is http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include with their quotation a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items (July 2002) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certification, Commercial Items (Nov 1995). In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration (Nov 2001), prior to receiving any contract award, contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors can obtain further information on the CCR database at the web site http://www.ccr.gov. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written (paper/hard copy) solicitation will not be issued.
