- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote solicitation number is M00681-03-T-MAWB. This solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15 , dated 2003/07/24 and DCN dated 203/07/22. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is DO-A70. The Regional Contracting Office, Southwest Camp Pendleton CA 92055 has a requirement for the following items: CLIN 0001: Contractor to provide all necessary equipment, materials, labor, transportation and ot her related materials/supplies required to accomplish the 3-D Marine Air Wing (MAW) Band Sound System at Marine Corps Air Station, San Diego, CA. The price is to include the following items: A. SPEAKER SYSTEM: (1) 8 ea. Custom case. J. OTHER SERVICES: (1) 1 ea system design. (a "turnkey" type system); (2) 1 ea system assembly, wiring, testing, and delivery. System is to be delivered ?ready to use?. As per specification of System Designer and System Engineer. K. TRAINING PROGRAM: Provide training from A to Z on how to work this system--- breaking it down and transporting it, setting it back up, customizing it for specific venues, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, operating the system, producing monitor mixes, safety, power requirements and evaluating the requirements, integrating into existing systems. L. MISC. : (1) The system must be "turnkey." In other words, the system needs to be performance ready with no assembly required because the Marines are not qualified, nor have the training/ expertise to build the c omplete system from the components; (2) System must be modular, so the Band can customize set-ups based on venue; (3) Must be able to use all the components outside (not waterproof but durable); (4) warrant on part and labor. Equipment is to be delivered to Miramar Air Statiion, San Diego, California. Evaluation ? The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. technical ability, and past performance considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: Price, technical capability, delivery date, product warranty, and past performance. The above listed materials are recommended, but not mandatory. All responsible sources may submit an offer by providing descriptive literature of how your equipment/service meets the needs of the government, past performance of at least two recent references where the contractor has performed the same/similar work. Offerors are required to complete and include a copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items with their proposals.
