Description
NA Contract covers service for monthly and annual inspection, maintenance, and testing of approximately 504 portable fire extinguishers, 12 hose standpipes, 31 60-minute SCBAs, 6 30-minute SCBAs, 40 10-minute emergency air escape packs, 22 portable and plumbe d eyewash stations, 20 small medical oxygen bottles, and monthly inspection and refilling, as necessary, 80 16-unit first aid kits. All items are located at various locations at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Bonneville Lock and Dam Project. The Contra ctor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to inspect, maintain, test, repair, refill and recharge all items listed above. The Contractor shall ensure that fire extinguishers, standpipes, escape bottles, and oxygen bottles are inspec ted and maintained as specified in the most current rules and regulations as specified by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 10 and 1962, Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements manual EM385-1-1, Oregon and Washington State Fire Mars hal, Compress Gas Association, and Department of Transportation. This solicitation is 100% small business set aside. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
