Description

NA The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, OK intends to enter into a sole source purchase with HYTORC Oklahoma using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the following items: 0001 - Quantity: 2 each - Model LC-2 Torque Machine, Automatic Continuous Ratcheting Unibody Convertible Torque Machine. For use with cartridge type female hex (low clearance) links; Torque accuracy (+/-3%); one way exclusive precision tooth ratchet with anti-lock mechanism; high strength low weight aircraft alloys: Total enclosure of all moving parts; complete set of safety coupler; Torque Range from 160 to 1,870 ft. lbs.; Total weight 5.05 lbs. 0002 - Quantity: 2 each - Low clearance continuous ratcheting cartridge for LC-2 Torque Machine: Specially fabricated to accept a push through 1 in. square drive, 1 in. 2LC-012-SQ 0003 - Quantity: 2 each - Model LC-8 Torque Machine. Automatic Continuous Ratcheting Unibody Convertible torque Machine. For use with cartridge type female hex (low clearance) links: torque accuracy (+/-3%); One way exc lusive precision tooth ratch with anti-lock mechanism; high strength low weight Aircraft alloys; Total enclosure of all moving parts; complete set of safety coupler; Torque Range from 870 to 9,252 ft. lbs.; total weight 20.5 lbs. 0004 - Quantity: 2 each - Low clearance continuous ratcheting cartridge for LC-8 Torque Machine: Specially fabricated to accept a push through 1 in. square drive, 1-1/2 8LC-108-SQ 0005 - Quantity: 4 each - Model MULT-HY Air High Speed Air/Hydraulic Portable Explosion Proof Power Pack. Pressure range from 1,000 psi to 10,000 psi; Dimensions: 14-1/2 in. L x 9-1/4 in. W x 18-1/2 in. H; Weight 57 lbs.; flow rate from 640 CIPM max to 90 CIPM min; carrying handle; power requirements: 100 to 120 psi air, 50 CFM; in line filter/lubricator with 0-150 psi regulator and shut off valve; built in heat exchanger to keep fluid temperature low in the summer and prevent freeze up of air exhaust in the winter; safety pressure adjustment knob and lock nut; fine mesh brass filter; 4-port built in mani fold to allow operation of four Torque Machines simultaneously, 15 ft. safety air remote control; 15 ft. twinline hi-visibility DAY GLOW 10,000 psi hydraulic hose with a 4:1 safety factor; safety hose burst guards; 10,000 psi precision calibrated silicon f illed pressure gauge; 2 gallon metal reservoir with 2 gallons of hydraulic fluid, quick connects and couplers. Responses must include, at a minimum, how the contractor proposes to meet the requirements herein. Written responses must include technical information sufficient to enable the Government to determine if the vendor can meet the Government's needs. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals receive d in response to this notice. If no affirmative responses are received by September 3, 2003 clearly demonstrating a vendor's ability to meet the Government's needs, a sole source purchase order will be issued to HYTORC Oklahoma. All vendors who provide go ods and services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be awarded DOD contracts.
