- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for construction services prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 14.2. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation Number DABJ21-03-R-0004 applies and is used as a Request for Quotation. The Fort Hamilton Military Community is seeking sources to Renovate building 116 HVAC systems via repair and upgrades. All work shall be in strict accordance with the applicable drawings and specifications and the terms and conditions required by the solicit ation. A firm-fixed Price award is contemplated. The completion period is 60-dyas from issue of Notice To Proceed. Estimated Cost Range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code for this procur ement is 238220, which is matched to SIC Code N041. To be classified as a small business for this procurement a company's annual average gross revenue the last 3 fiscal years cannot exceed $28.5 million. A site visit is scheduled for 05 September 2003 at 1:30 PM. The work includes the following incidental related work. Remove thirty fou r 34 thermostats this estimated number depends on actual broken or malfunctioning thermostats; Repair and service ten 10 package roof top units; Retrofit existing ductwork for six 6 roof top units to become variable air volume systems; Install twenty-eight 28 water balancing valves for fourteen 14 air handling units; Install new thermostats for fourteen 14 air handling units; Service and repair of fourteen 14 outside air dampers; Service and repair of twenty-eight 28 hot and chilled water valves for air han dling units; Perform complete air and water balancing for all air handling units, package roof top units and hot chilled water systems; Clean and service of an air-cooled chiller; Clean threaded rods of heat exchanger in the boiler room; Install new combus tion air fan; Clean all the interiors of existing ducts; Clean all the finned tube elements of perimeter radiators; Install manual sheet metal dampers in existing finned. This procurement has nine elements: package roofing air conditioner, air handler , air distribution system, chiller, heat exchange, boiler, pumps, perimeter radiation and duct cleaning at Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, New York.
