Description
Contractor is required to provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to: 1) Complete replacement of EPDM roof surface with two-ply SBS modified bituminous roof system. Provide ?? thick perlite cover board. Use existing poly-iso insulation. Provide new modified bituminous flashing along roof edges, and for all vents, and fans. Use existing metal edge coping, and metal vent flashing (8,500 square feet replacement area). 2) Remove (7) abandon cut openings, and (6) gooseneck vents and (4) pipe vents. Cover opening with wood 2 x 8?s and perlite cover board. 3) Provide #8 x 1 ?? lag screws washers for re-attachment of existing vents, fans and coping. 4) Replace metal boiler stack, and water heater stack. 5) Replace (1) aluminum intake vent. Provide (3) additional new intake vents as replacement for gooseneck vents found to be in use. 6) Dispose of all remaining demolished roof material, insulation, and misc. metal as non-hazardous. Unit Bid Item: Provide unit price per square foot for replacement of 160 square feet of tapered poly-isocyanurate insulation board (4? x 4? boards, tapered 1? to 2?). Work associated with these items is described in the following specification sections or are shown on the contract drawings. Incidental work items not listed above but necessary for completing the project shall be included. The location of this project is USCG Station Cape Charles, Virginia. The estimated range of this procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238160.
