Description

This requirement will be solicited unrestricted. NAIC Code is 332311. Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, materials, design, drawings, and installation necessary for a drive in/back out cross flow paint booth large enough to paint any vehicle from compact cars to oversized cranes, fire trucks, fuel trucks and high reach vehicles. Booth must conform to all required standards and have an exterior building to protect the booth from harsh oceanic/stormy weather/seismic conditions. All equipment must be housed inside the building. Building must allow fresh air to be drawn in for painting without having exterior doors open. Booth must have heated air-handling system with diesel fuel-fired heater and fire suppression system. Building must be built on concrete foundation in accordance with paint booth manufacturer’s design and drawings conforming to all required standards. Booth must include installation of and connection to user supplied air compressor and breathable air pump. All electrical equipment must be 50/60Hz and connect to user-supplied source. The request for proposal (RFP) package will be available for downloading and viewing at Fed Biz Opps at http://www.eps.gov on or about 7 July 2003. All proposals and other documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments shall be submitted in paper medium. All contractors interested in receiving notification of updates/amendments to the solicitation posted on the Fed Biz Ops are urged to enroll on the web site mailing list for this acquisition. Those contractors enrolled will be notified automatically of any changes made to the RFP through their e-mail address. No telephone requests will be accepted.
