Description

This announcement is modified to add the following: Interested Offerors desiring to be included on a Potential Bidder's List should submit the following information to Mr. John Martin at MartinJ@aaav.usmc.mil: Company Name, Point of Contact, Phone Number, E-mail Address and (if desired), Business size status. The original synopsis remains unchanged as follows: The U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Direct Reporting Program Manager – Advanced Amphibious Assault (DRPM AAA) program office has a requirement for comprehensive engineering, logistics, acquisition and technical analysis services to support the development, production and fielding of the Advanced Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAAV). Offerors should possess major weapons system related engineering, logistics, acquisition and technical analysis support services experience in support of a major program office. Prospective offerors must have facilities or be willing to establish facilities within 20 miles of the DRPM AAA facility located at the Worth Avenue Technology Annex (WATA), 14041 Worth Avenue, Woodbridge, VA 22192-4123. The total requirement is for approximately 455,330 hours (72,634 hours in FY04, 95,674 hours per year in FY05, FY06, FY07 and FY08) (including options each year). Details will be contained in Solicitation M67854-03-R-0025, which is estimated to be posted to the Marine Corps AAAV website at http://www.aaav.usmc.mil on or after 11 April 2003. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. It is anticipated that proposals will be due approximately 30 days after release of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Questions will not be accepted or responded to orally or by phone. Only those questions submitted in writing to Mr. John Martin, Contract Specialist, 14041 Worth Avenue, Woodbridge, VA 22192-4123, or e-mailed to MartinJ@aaav.usmc.mil will receive responses.
