- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female Federal offenders within a 20 mile radius of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center (CCC) Amended May 2002, also Amended locally by Philadelphia CCM Office, April 2003. This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement type contract. The services are estimated to be 88% male and 12% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 10,950 (males) and 1,460 (females) for the base period; 5,840 (males) and 730 (females) for option year one; 6,222 (males) and 732 (females) for option year two; and 6,570 (males) and 730 (females) for option year three, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about September 23, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation will be on or about November 24, 2003 All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
