Description

The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospherid Administration, Eastern Administrative Support Center intends to negotiate on a sole soure basis with MCNC of Research Triangle Park, North Carolina for follow on services to maintain a T-3 Line between the National Climatic Data Center and the University of North Carolina-Asheville. MCNC manages the only network connection to the Abilene network in Western North Carolina. The statutory authority for this action is 41 USC 253(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The applicable NAICS code is 811213. This action is estimated below the simplified acquisition threshold of $100,000. This announcement is not a solicitation for quotes and no awards will be made as a result of quote information received as a response to this announcement.
