- Description
- The United States Coast Guard, Training Center Cape May, New Jersey is conducting a market survey to determine if sources are capable of satisfying the agency requirements and to obtain public comments regarding the most cost effective or efficient methods to accomplish the design of four stand alone steering stand consoles (ship helm simulators). Input is requested with regard to: most cost effective method, design, availability, time requirements, and any other significant concerns that could effect project execution and cost. All console equipment should be fully supportable ?off-the-shelf? items with a standard repair/replace warranty of two years from time of receipt for parts and labor. Vendor will be required to deliver all drawings and wiring schematics upon equipment receipt to the Coast Guard for future equipment repairs. This RFI is issued for the sole purpose of obtaining information from prospective offerors. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be issued at this time.
