Description

The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson Air Force Base (AFB), Colorado announces a Pre-Solicitation notice for a 5-year Commercial Services Acquisition to provide maintenance, repair, test and chemical balance the Strantrol Aquazone Pool Chlorination System for the Aquatic Center on Peterson AFB, Colorado. The government contemplates soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 22 August 2003 via the Internet at www.eps.gov. The NAICS for this acquisition is 56179, with a size standard of $6M. The performance period of this contract shall consist of one base year, plus four individual option years. There is no guarantee that the option years will be exercised. The anticipated award date is 1 October 2003, subject to the availability of funds. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies (chemicals), equipment and labor necessary to maintain, repair, test and chemically balance a STRANCO, Inc. Strantrol Aquazone Pool Chlorination System located at the Aquatic Center Building 404, on Peterson AFB, Colorado. This anticipated award is restricted to a Small Business Certified STRANCO Contractors ONLY and shall meet commercial standards. Contractor must be factory-certified by STRANCO to perform maintenance, adjustments, checks and balances and repairs the pool chlorination system. For further description see the Solicitation.
