- Description
- By this notice, the General Services Administration (GSA) formally announces their intent to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Construction Management Services for the administration and management of all phases of building project development and execution in designated areas in Region 10. The scope of the CM services under this proposed contract will include but not limited to project management, pre-design, design reviews, constructibility reviews, administration and management of construction contracts, inspection and testing services, asbestos abatement inspection and testing, claims analysis, building surveys and other reimbursable services. The construction contracts are estimated to be between $10,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement of CM services will be accomplished using Source Selection procedures. The terms of the contract will be one base year, with 4 one-year options. The primary geographic are for the contract will be the State of Washington. Projects may also be assigned in other areas of the Northwest/Artic Region, which consists of the States of Washington, Idaho, Alaska, and Oregon. Selection will be based on firm?s prior experience and qualification in accordance with criteria stated in the forthcoming Request for Proposal. This solicitation is open to both small and large business firms. The small Business size standard for the procurement (NAICS 233320) in accordance with FAR 19.1 is average annual receipts of $28.5 million. Large business firms will be required to submit an acceptable Small Business Subcontracting Plan in accordance with the solicitation and FAR 52.219-9. GSA is committed to assuring that the maximum opportunity is provided to the small business community to participate in these contracts. The solicitation package is expected to be available on or about September 3rd, 2003. The solicitation as well as all amendments will be posted to this Federal Business Opportunities Website.
