Description

Solicitation for project to ?Replace Dental Air Compression System? (Project VNVP 038011) will be issued in the near future. Work includes removal of 2 existing compressors, installation of 2 oil-less compressors, along with the installation of a final filter located on the lateral to 32 dental chairs under the floor. Because of the function of the facility and the hours of operation, some of the work will be performed during weekends and after normal working hours. Modifications to the current copper airlines drain lines, electrical controls, and ductwork will be completed to ensure a complete and usable system. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work and drawings. Magnitude of construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance period is 14 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Solicitation is being set aside for small businesses. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 811219, with a size standard of $6 million dollars. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system (http://eps.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of a contract.
