Description

NA The Government is seeking interested sources for a low cost Ground To Ground Combat Identification System. This system should interoperate with Joint/Coalition systems IAW NATO Standardization Agreement (STANAG) 4579 compliance and should be based on a qua ntity of 4,000 systems. Latency of response and total unit (A and B kit) cost are critical parameters. This survey is not limited to domestic, US vendors. Suggestions to the Government on program structure, requirements, economic ordering quantities, bl ocking strategy, vehicle integration strategy, etc., to reduce cost in all program areas are encouraged. Comments on any suggested/required deviations or enhancements to the NATO STANAG No. 4579 are also welcome. The Government will not reimburse interest ed sources or responders to this notice for any costs incurred in responding, or for subsequent exchanges of information. Interim responses should be submitted no later than close of business 30 Aug 2003, with Final submittals acceptable up to 12 Septembe r 2003. Information submitted does not constitute a proposal, but will be considered an exchange of capabilities and ideas. Please include company history, point of contact, CAGE code, and any other pertinent information with your response. Electronic r esponses are preferred over hardcopy.
