Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 13, 2003. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICIATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: 100% Set-aside for Small Business. Air Gap for PMC at Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs, Arkansas, 71901. Solicitation Number A7300030017. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise neccessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. Work includes, but is not limited to : Installation of Air Gaps on PMC pools and hottubs; Demo of steam line; Removal of 4" RPZ's & associated piping; Installation of air gaps for large & small pools on the first floor & air gaps on hottubs on second floor; removal of sitz bath lines & installation of new hot water heater recirculating pump. The NAICS code for this project is 238220 and the small business size is $12 million. Contract duration is 30 days following the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $50,000. This procurement is an Request for Quote (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquistion Regulations (FAR). This procurement is offered as 100% Set-aside for Small Business and the National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27 Alt 1, Site Visit (Construction).
