Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to negotiate on a Sole Source basis with Maryland Environmental Services to conduct placement monitoring at Site 92 open water dredged material placement site, near Pooles Island. This notic e of intent is NOT a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract award will be made on the basis of this notice. This notice does not constitute a solicitation document. Requests for such documents will not be considered. However, all information re ceived within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. The NAICS Code is 541710 with a Size Standard of 500 employees. The contract will have a period of p erformance for the Base Year from 1 October 2003 through 30 September 2004 and will contain 2 additional 1-year option periods. This project is subject to the Availability of Fiscal Year 2004 Funds for the base year.
