Description

Management and Training Corporation, d.b.a. Denison Job Corps located at 10 Opportunity Drive in Denison, IA 51442 is seeking potential contractors to provide bids on a three-part concrete project at the center. Part one - Remove and replace approximately 3900 sq. ft of asphalt paving with concrete 8" deep. This area includes a storm water intake that needs repair. Part two - Create a parking area approximately 150 ft long x 20 ft. wide with 6" concrete, complete with curbing. Part three - Create a sidewalk area with curbing, approximately 150' long. This will be bid as a base (part one) with two alternates (part two & three). Awarded contractor will provide all labor, material, equipment and supplies as required to perform the work. A pre bid walk thru will be held on Aug. 27th, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the center. All interested parties must attend. Complete bid packet will be issued at that time. The award will be a firm fixed price contract. Estimate start date will be September 25, 2003. Bids must be returned to the center no later than 10:00 a.m. September 12, 2003.
