Description
U.S. Government Seeks Sources for Leasing Food and Drug Administration Project No. 1CA0245 Summary Requirement: The General Services Administration desires to lease approximately 6,182 rentable square feet of office space yielding approximately 5,375 BOMA usable square feet for the Food and Drug Administration to house personnel, furnishings, and equipment, together with adequate parking including ten (10) inside/reserved on-site spaces. Building Requirement: The General Services Administration will use the Quality Solicitation for Offers to satisfy this requirement in a office building that is professional and prestigious in appearance, well maintained, of modern design, and of sound and substantial construction. The requested space must be fully serviced, and in a building capable of being altered to meet the Government?s needs and security requirements as well as requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The building must conform to the seismic requirements for new construction of the current (1999) edition of the Uniform Building Code (UBC), or the 1976 Edition for existing buildings. The building offered must not contain sprayed on fireproofing or acoustical treatment containing asbestos. Location / Delineated Area: The building offered must be located in a delineated area from Downtown San Diego, California (Central Business District) to the North San Diego County border and within 1.5 miles of U.S. Interstate 5. Lease term: The term is for ten (10) years firm. Occupancy Date: Occupancy is planned for no later than April 20, 2004. Expressions of interest should include the following: 1. Building name and address. 2. Rentable square feet and rate per rentable square foot. 3. Confirm BOMA Method of Measurement, usable yield for available space by floor and building common area factor. Owners and Authorized Agents: Brokers and agents may represent prospective landlords, but any properties or proposals submitted by the brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building?s ownership.
