- NAICS Code: 333411 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Office of Radiation and Indoor Air, Radiation and Indoor Environments National Laboratory in Las Vegas, Nevada intends to award fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation provisions, will be the lowest priced/technically acceptable. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain an Ozone Analyzer and an Ozone Transfer Standard Calibrator according to the following specifications: Ozone Analyzer (one unit required); the Ozone Analyzer shall have current U.S. EPA designation as a reference or equivalent method. The unit shall be self-contained. The analyzer shall operate on standard 115 VAC 50/60Hz power. The analyzer shall be microprocessor controlled. The analyzer shall utilize the UV Photometric principle of ozone measurement. The analyzer shall operate in all ranges from 0.000 to 1000 ppb. The analyzer shall have Ethernet communication capabilities. The analyzer shall have support software for date downloading from the analyzer to a PC. The analyzer shall have an EPA-approved operating temperature range of 5C to 40C or better. Ozone Transfer Standard Calibrator (one unit required); the equipment shall be self-contained and configured as an ozone transfer standard to perform on-site calibration of other ozone monitoring equipment and measuring devices. The transfer standard shall operate on standard 115 VAC 50/60Hz power. The transfer standard shall be microprocessor controlled. The transfer standard shall utilize the UV Photometric principle of ozone measurement. The transfer standard shall have an internal ozone generator for use as an on-site calibration standard. The transfer standard shall operate in all ranges from 0.000 to 1000 ppb. SUPPORTIVE SPECIFICATIONS: (Replacement Parts) Replacement parts for the equipment shall be available for five years from date of purchase. (Factory Authorized Service) The successful bidder shall be capable of providing support for the repair and maintenance of the proposed equipment. There shall be a minimum one-year warranty for equipment and there shall be Instruction and Reference Manuals available. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 333411. Any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered.
