Description: NA The Garrison Commander, Fort Myer, Virginia announced on 7 August 2003 its tentative decision to retain in-house the Base Operations Support Services functions. This decision is the result of a competitive process conducted in accordance with Office of Man agement and Budget Circular A-76. The final analysis indicated that the Government did not receive any acceptable private-sector offer to compete against the Most Efficient Organization (MEO). There was no cost comparison and the tentative decision in the Base Operations Support Services study is to implement the MEO.
