Description

The Human Systems Contracting Office, 311 HSW/PKWB, intends to issue a sole source award to SensIR Technologies for the procurement of a quantity of four HazMat Chemical Identifiers. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 334516 and the business size is 500 employees to qualify as a small business. The Government intends to issue a contract for The United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, Brooks City-Base, TX. The contractor shall provide for the supply of four HazMat Chemical Identifiers. The HazMat system uses analytical FT-IR technology to measure how chemical samples interact with infrared light. This measurement is then compared with SensIR?s libraries to identify the substance. The following info is provided: Single reflexion diamond sample interface, requiring a single drop of liquid or grain of powder for analysis. Required laptop computer equipped with 54 Mbytes RAM, 6 Gbyte Hard Drive. System should include a pelican hardened shipping case with custom fitting.
