- The NASA Stennis Space Center Acquisition Management Office is hosting an Industry Day at Casino Magic, Bay St. Louis, MS on August 19, 2003. The purpose of this Industry Day is to provide an opportuntity for industry, especially small businesses, to learn more about Stennis Space Center and potential business opportunities. Stennis Space Center is a unique facility as it has a diverse group of organizations residing together to create its own community. The agenda for the event is designed to maximize opportunities for presentations and networking. Presentations will be presented in the morning from NASA and various resident agencies (DoD, DoC, DoI, State, and Prime contractor). Congressman Gene Taylor (MS-4th District) will provide a short briefing. Exhibits will be displayed all day by the tenants of Stennis Space Center to provide an opportunity for vendors to discuss SSC and potential business opportunities at SSC. An optional bus tour has been scheduled in the afternoon and pre-registration is required not later August 8, 2003. A website has been established to provide additional information about the conference, the hotel, directions, and for online registration at http://www.ssc.nasa.gov/industryday/. Questions can be sent to SSC-SBS@ssc.nasa.gov. Seating for the presentations and bus tours is limited so please register early. To ensure the $69.00 (excluding taxes) hotel rate, please make reservations prior to August 8, 2003.
