- NA The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans has a requirement for 12 each of the following: 1) Computers, portable, Dell Latitude C840, Mobile Pentium 4 processor, 2.4GHZ-M 15.0 inch, ultra-sharp asv uxga display; 512mb ddr sdram, 1 dimm; Dell performanc e 87 key keyboard U.S. layout; Dell dual-point pointing device (both touch pad & track stick); nvidia geforce4 440 gotm 128-bit, 4x, agp video chipset, 64mb ddr vram; 40gb hard drive, 9.5mm, 5400rpm; modular 3.5inch 1.44mb, removable diskette drive; crysta l cs4205, audio with sound blaster emulation; standard integrated 56k capable v.92 modem and 10/100 ethernet rj-45network adapter; internal 8-24-10-24x swdvd/cdrw combo; lithium ion battery; microsoft windows 2000, service pack 3, ntfs file system; ms-offi ce 2000 professional (office xp pro license) no cd/media; interfaces: serial (dte); (one) 9-pin connector; 16550-compatible, 16-byte buffer, parallel: (one) 25-pin female connector (unidirectional, bi-directional, or ecp), video: (one)15-pin connector and s-video out connector, ps/2 style keyboard/keypad/mouse: (one) 6-pin mini-din (does not support more than one device at a time), infrared; one port compatible with irda standards 1.1 (fast ir) and 1.0 (slow ir), 2, pcmcia, (type 1 or type II cards can be u sed in any combination; type III cards can be used only in the bottom connector), audio: microphone-in-jack; line- in/audio-in jack; headphones/speakers jack, 2 usb-compliant connectors, IEEE 1394A: 4-pin mini-1394, docking: 200-pin connector for the latit ude c/port-II, advanced port replicator or c/dock-II expansion station; lock adapter for c/dock2 and c/port2, for Dell Latitude C810/C840 notebooks, nylon carrying case, warranty: 3 year parts + onsite labor (next business day), gold technical support serv ice for c-series Dell Latitude for three (3) years. Required delivery date is September 15 2003. Solicitation Number DACW29-03-T-0084 will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set aside. The requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price co ntract under FAR 12, Commercial Items.
