Description
NA CONTACT Peter Tsang, Electronics Engineer, 732-532-1007. U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command is conducting a Markey Survey to determine if additional sources exist with the capability of providing depot level hardware and software support for the SMART-T system, AN/TSC-154. At this time, a proposal is not required; therefore your response will not be considered as an offer. This request for information does not commit the government to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of any submission to this market survey or to contract for services. The Army intends to procure depot support for the SMART-T system from its manufacturer, Raytheon Corp., CAGE 49956 via a planned five (5) year Firm Fixed Price contract. The SMART-T depot level repairables co nsist of the entire terminal AN/TSC-154, NSN 5895-01-435-0571 and the Generator Set, Diesel Engine PU815/TSC-154, NSN 6115-454-6413. Detailed technical data for the manufacturer or acceptance data of these items are NOT AVAILABLE from the government. NOTE: Potential Bidders are required to have detailed knowledge of all aspects of SMART-T hardware and software in order to adequately provide the depot support services. Therefore, the impending depot support acquisition will be issued on a sole-source basis i n accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Suppliers capable of providing depot support must so indicate in writting to: Commander USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-T-MO (TSANG), Building 1202W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023 or via email to peter.tsang@mail1.monm outh.army.mil. The response must include documentation showing that the contractor is capable of providing the required services. Responses must be received by 01 September, 2003.
