Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source modification to contract N00019-02-C-3059 with Harris Corporation, Government Communications Systems Division, P.O. Box 37, Melbourne, FL 32902-0037. This modification will be for a study to develop a depot maintenance concept that identifies and quantifies by labor hour and labor category, all contractor engineering and technical support services necessary to establish an organic depot repair capability at an existing military depot. This support shall include assistance for equipment installation and operational check at the government depot, training for operation and maintenance of test and diagnostic equipment; and Digital Map Computer maintenance and repair training for the TAMMAC Digital Map Computer and its variants. Harris Corporation is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the TAMMAC DMC, and is, therefore, the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment and experience to fulfill this requirement.
