Description

It is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning to provide and secure labor and material to replace underground oil tanks, complete and ready for use. The work includes repairs and replacement and incidental related work. Thirteen tanks will be replaced at thirteen different quarters. Eleven tanks are 550 gallon and two tanks are 1,000 gallon and will be replaced with same size tanks. The Government will furnish one (1) 500 gallon and one (1) 550 gallon tank to be installed by the contractor. All exisitng tanks are steel tanks and will be replaced with STI-P3 steel tanks. THIS IS A HUB ZONE SET-ASIDE. Estimated Cost $25,000 to $100,000. Site visit 6 August 2003 at 8:00 a.m. There are no drawings with this solicitation. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 237990. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), the solicitation will be available for download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil (website). Hard copies (paper sets) of solicitation WILL NOT be provided by the Government. ). NOTIFICATION OF ANY CHANGES (AMENDMENTS) TO THE SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE ONLY ON THE INTERNET. IT WILL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR ANY POSTED CHANGES.
