- This synopsis is hereby modified to change the period of performance as follows: Firm fixed price requirements contract with a Two Year Basic and Three One year option periods will be issued; all other information remains unchanged. The USAF will issue an RFP for the repair of the Augmentor Balance Nozzle Segment Assembly. Thesolicitation will be issued electronically through the FEDBIZOPS website. Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-308-4466NZ; P/N: 4070067, Predominant material: Titanium; Size/Dimensions: 6 inches long X 4.75 inches wide. This item provides balance for the opening and closing of the augmentor nozzle for the F100PW229. Delivery: Tinker AFB, OK or as specified in individual order. Anticipated solicitation issue date: 25JUL03. Anticipated award date: 15SEP03. A firm-fixed price, Requirements contract with a one-year basic and 4 one-year option ordering periods will be issued. Estimated quantities: Basic Year: 700 each, Option 1: 450 each, Option 2: 450 each, Option 3: 450 each, Option 4: 450 each. Quantity required per month is 58 each, 30 days after contract award for the basic year and 38 each, 30 days after contract award for any options exercised. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved and qualified IAW with the Qualification Requirements. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate In the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
