Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX intends to make a single award for the provision of Parenting Instructor & Test Administrator for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution, Terminal Island, CA. The successful contractor shall provide a parenting program that shall support the development and maintenance of positive relationships between inmates, their spouses, parents, and their children. The successful contractor shall also provide a Test Administrator responsible for administration, scoring, and score interpretation of a variety of standardized tests which include GED, Pre-GED, ABLE, SABE or CASAS certification and placement test to the inmate population. The contract period will consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods. The solicitation will be available on/about August 6, 2003 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about August 29, 2003. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 611710. This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quotation which will be considered.
