Description

CDC is seeking an offeror to work with scientists at its contracting sites, other subject matter experts and CDC scientists to perform studies to test theimpact of varying AIG route and dose level on the relationships between dose administered and does achieved in the animal at peak, the time it takes to reach peak levels, the half-life of AIG and the toxicity and safety of AIG in rabbits. The successful offeror should show evidence that proposed personnel have the appropriate qualifications, background and direct relevant experience in the design and implementation of pre-clinical animal studies using B. antracis inhalational challenge rabbit model to perform the described tasks including providing detailed CVs; demonstration that the offeror has the necessary equipment and facilities to perform this study at the appropriate biosafety level, and under GLP. In addition, provide detailed evidence that proposed personnel have successfully performed these specific functions for other organizations in the recent past. It will be advantageous for offerors to have an established network of subject matter expertise that can be applied to this project.
