Description

U. S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Services (NESDIS), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Eric Davis, Rockville, MD to provide support for the Environmental Services Data Information Management Program. The mission of the ESDIM Program is to support NOAA's Data Management Mission by focusing its effort in three critical areas: improvement of data management, promotion of modernization, and coordination and consensus building among data stakeholders. The contractor shall prepare new guide lines for potential ESDIM investigators, the preparation of notebooks of both letters of intent and final proposals, conduct two 3-day meetings of the entire ESDIM Committee, the adjudication and tabulation of voting results, the production of presentation material to senior management, and the production of numerous memoranda documenting the winners and losers in the process. This is a notice of intent and cannot be considered a solicitation, therefore no solicitation package exist. Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. Reference EA7000-59
