Description

The Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna, New Cumberland, PA intends to award a sole source purchase order to S I Handling for the purchase of 1200 feet of sorter chain, 12" pitch, PN: C-S07A01A1 under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and other than full and open competition since S I Handling is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the sorter chain which is proprietary to this company. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 14 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Proposals must include the qualifications/capabilities of the company to manufacture this part, brochures, and price list. Responses received without the requested information may be considered nonresponsive to this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon written responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
