- This is a solicitation for INTERIOR PLANTSCAPING: (North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561730 and the size standard for the same business is six (6) million dollars. The DLA HQ located at 8725 John J. Kingman Road, on North Post of Ft. Belvoir, Virginia 22060, has a requirement for interior planting and maintenance of same for its 800,000 sq ft facility consisting of nine (9) sections called pods each having four (4) floors, (this does not include the basement level) Due to quantity of the large potted plants, live plants, trees, palms and silk plants. VENDORS ARE ASKED TO REQUEST THE STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) in order that they have the complete requirement as it is expected to be performed. This requirement will shall be accomplished for a base year, October 1, 2003 through 30 September 2004, with four 1-year options. A Statement of Work (SOW) describing the requirement in detail may be requested in writing up until August 8, 2003, by fax (703) 767-1172, or by email: Robert.mitchell@dla.mil. No telephonic responses will be accepted. Written requests must include name and address of company, Point of Contact?s name and phone and fax numbers. This solicitation is small business set-aside. This serves as a notice of intent to award a contract among small businesses only. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Please provide brochures or some other means of documentation to demonstrate your companies ability to satisfy the statement of work. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this.
