Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate for the purchase of LabVIEW Multi-user Licenses and maintenance on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Only One Source Reasonably Available with National Instruments, 6504 Bridge Point Parkway, Austin, TX 78730-5039. National Instruments LabVIEW is a proprietary software programming system currently used to assist in data acquisition and control, data analysis, and data presentation. The purchase of multi-user licenses will avail LabVIEW to a greater number of NIST users at quantity-discounted prices. The Multi-user Software Agreement License will support and upgrade the software. Period of performance shall be one year commencing on September 1, 2003. CLIN 0001, Quantity of 1, P/N 930000-02, LabVIEW Software Subscription Program; CLIN 0002, Quantity of 154, P/N 930000-00, SSP for multiple users; CLIN 0003, Quantity of 1, P/N 930000-02, LabVIEW Software Subscription Program; CLIN 0004, Quantity of 14, P/N 920000-00, SSP for multiple users; CLIN 0005, P/N 930800-01, National Instruments Measurement Studio SSP; CLIN 0006, Quantity of 5, P/N 930000-00, SSP for multiple users; CLIN 0007, Quantity of 1, P/N 930000-02, LabVIEW Software Subscription Program; CLIN 0008, Quantity of 1, P/N 930000-00, SSP for Multiple Users. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 421430 and the size standard is 500. Interested parties may submit in writing their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by NLT August 8, 2003 at 11 AM EST, however, THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITION. A Request for Quotation is not available.
