Description

The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to purchase 48 M1113 High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMWWVs) on a sole source basis. The sole source contractor is AM General LLC; 105 N Niles Ave; South Bend IN 46617. Statutory authority for these sole source extensions is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW Far 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2302 (c) (1) and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement NLT 1400, July 31. Responses must be in writing and directed to Mike Holland via email hollandm2@socom.mil.
