Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to modify contract N68936-02-C-0204 with Geomechanics International, 250 Cambridge Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94306 on an other than full and competitive basis for increased data analysis from two geothermal test holes for kinematic and dynamic studies of the Coso Geothermal and surrounding areas. Under this modification, Geomechanics International will incorporate the results of the analysis of the new data with the results of previous work under the contract at the Coso site. The contractor will review, collate, and analyze new data from the test holes and utilize that data in developing a reservoir model as proposed under the current contract. The modification will be issued to the above contract with Geomechanics because they are the only contractor who can analyze the new data and correlate that data into their model and data base development. Any firm believing that they can provide the above work may submit a written response to be received at the contracting Office no later than 31 July 2003, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Respond to Jackie Harrison, by mail to NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV, Code 220000D, Attn: Jackie Harrison, China Lake, CA 93555-6100, by fax (760) 939-8186, or by email to jacqueline.harrison@navy.mil. See note 22.
