Description

The work of the is project invoves replacing the existing exhaust hood as it is not adquately removing grease laden smoke from the kitchen, increasing the changes of a flash fire above the range. The current kitchen ventilation upgrade project has been designed to accommodate the current kitchen cooking equipment layout. This will allow maximum air flow. remove excess smoke and reduce the potential loss of life and property. Contractor wil provide and install a new island type kitchen hood and exhaust fan. Include the following: 1. installation of grease rated exhaust fan and curb to include roof curb, roofing and electrical hookup.2. Installation of hood system, risers and trim to include Black Iron Welded exhaust duct with Firemaster insulation and relocating of Ansul Fire protection system. 3. Startup, checkout and balancing of system. Award of this contract will be in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program(Public Law 100-656). This project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. Estimated Price Range ror this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS:235110, P&S :J099, this solicitation will be available ONLY by connecting with the DOI Website at (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) NO PAPER COPIES will be mailed. This solicitation will be available O/A August 11, 2003 and will close O/ASeptember 10, 2003 at 3:00 PM MT unless extensons are issued in an amendment.
