Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida, is soliciting a contractor to provide services as a Computer Refurbishing V.T. Instructor. The offeror must be a qualified computer technician or teacher certified by any technical school or State Department of Education. The resulting contract will be a base period, not to exceed twelve months, with two one year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. The number of two hour sessions is estimated at 150, depending on the actual date of award and availability of funds. The solicitation will be available on or around July 29, 2003 and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http:/www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed unless determined by the contracting officer to be in the best interest of the government. Future information concerning the acquisition, including any amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. The government may make award without discussions, therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
