Description

The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to add the following information. The due date for quotes, Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time remains unchanged by reason of this amendment. NIST has the following equipment available for trade-in credit: (1) Cambridge Stereoscan S-360 scanning electron microscope, serial number 01-05, with KE 4-pole solid-state back-scattered electron detector, and monitor in working condition with the exception of the secondary electron detector; (2) Princeton Gamma Tech IMIX x-ray microanalysis and imaging system, (central processing, electronics and detector), and 21" monitor. The total price quoted for the Scanning Electron Microscope and the X-Ray Microanalysis and Imaging System will be evaluated inclusive of any trade-in credit offered by the quoter. Questions regarding the equipment available for trade-in shall be addressed in writing to Carol Wood, Contract Specialist, via e-mail or fax not later than August 1, 2003 at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
