Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NASA/KSC has a requirement for the following Laboratory Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Test Equipment: ITEM 1: 4 Meter Coaxial Cable with connectors. Model # CC8004 QTY: 2 ITEM 2 Non-metallic Tripod. Model #TP1000A QTY: 1 ITEM 3: Antenna, I to 4.2 GHz frequency. Model# AT4002 QTY: 1 ITEM 4: Directional Coupler, 0.8 to 4.2 GHz frequency. Model # DC7140 QTY: 1 ITEM 5: Amplifier, 10 Watts 0.8 to 4.2 GHz frequency. Model # 10S1G4 QTY: 1 ITEM 6: E-field Probe, 80MHz to 40 GHz frequency. Model # FP2080 QTY: 1 Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin= . The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing by mail, fax, or email (email preferred) to the primary point of contact no later than 12 Noon on Wednesday, July 29, 2003. All submitted questions and answers will be posted the following day. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any). Quotations for the items described above are due no later than 12 NOON EDT on August 1, 2003.
